Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Cochin Arrival & Transfer to Munnar
Arrive at Cochin International Airport (COK). Our representative will meet you and drive you to the enchanting hill station of Munnar, located at 1600 meters above sea level. The 4-hour drive itself is magical — you will pass through cascading waterfalls like Cheeyappara and Valara, lush green rubber plantations, and endless carpets of tea gardens. Check into your premium hill-view resort and relax. Dinner and overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 2
Munnar Full Day Sightseeing
After a hearty South Indian breakfast, head out for a full day of exploration. Visit the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat). Drive up to the Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a speed boat ride on its emerald green reservoir. Visit Echo Point where your voice bounces back from the surrounding hills. Stop at the KDHP Tea Museum to learn about the 100-year-old history of tea processing in Munnar. Return to the resort for dinner.
Day 3
Munnar to Thekkady (Spice Country)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, gateway to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The scenic drive takes you through cardamom and pepper plantations. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided Spice Plantation Tour where you can touch, smell, and taste fresh spices like cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla. In the evening, witness a captivating traditional Kathakali dance performance. Dinner and overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 4
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary & Transfer to Alleppey
Wake up early for a serene boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the wildlife sanctuary. Keep your eyes peeled for wild elephants, bison, deer, and exotic birds along the shores. After lunch, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), the "Venice of the East", famous for its intricate network of backwater canals. Check into your hotel and spend the evening at the Alleppey beach watching the sunset.
Day 5
Alleppey Backwater Houseboat Cruise
The crown jewel of your Kerala trip! After breakfast, board a traditional Kerala-style AC Houseboat (Kettuvallam). Cruise through the serene and mesmerizing backwaters of Alleppey, passing through narrow canals lined with coconut palms, paddy fields, and small villages. Your houseboat comes with a personal chef who will prepare authentic Kerala meals including fresh fish curry and appam. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board while the boat glides peacefully. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 6
Varkala Cliff Beach Walk
