Day 1
Hanoi Arrival & Evening Exploration
Welcome to Hanoi, the charming capital of Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our guide will greet you with a traditional Vietnamese welcome. Transfer to your centrally located hotel in the French Quarter. After checking in, take a leisurely evening walk around the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese welcome dinner featuring Pho and spring rolls at a local restaurant.
Day 3
Halong Bay Overnight Luxury Cruise
After breakfast, drive 3.5 hours to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay — one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Board your luxury junk boat and cruise through 1,600 limestone islands and islets rising dramatically from the emerald green waters. Visit Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, one of the largest grottoes in the bay. Try kayaking through hidden lagoons, swim in the bay, or relax on the sundeck with a cocktail. Enjoy a gourmet seafood dinner on board. Overnight stay on the cruise.
Day 4
Halong Bay Morning & Flight to Ho Chi Minh City
Wake up early for a breathtaking sunrise over Halong Bay. Practice Tai Chi on the sundeck if you wish. Enjoy brunch on board as the cruise navigates through floating fishing villages. Disembark by noon and drive back to Hanoi airport for your domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in District 1. Enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Bui Vien Street.
Day 5
Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon City Tour
After breakfast, drive to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible network of underground tunnels used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Crawl through sections of the tunnels (widened for tourists) and learn about the ingenious guerrilla tactics used by the soldiers. Return to the city for a Saigon city tour — visit the Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel. End the day at the famous Ben Thanh Market for souvenir shopping.
Day 5
Mekong Delta River Boat Tour
Day trip to the lush Mekong Delta. Ride sampan wooden boats through narrow palm canals, visit coconut candy workshops, and taste fresh tropical fruits while listening to folk music.
Day 6
Sapa Valley Rice Terraces Trek
Take a scenic trek through the mist-shrouded rice terraces of Sapa Valley. Visit Black Hmong ethnic hill tribe villages and ride the Fansipan Legend cable car.
